This internship will focus on 3D modeling. You will be making high and low poly models and make PBR textures for these models. You will be guided through the process. The models you are going to create will be used in the end product of our clients.
The programs that you will work with:
- Maya Autodesk
- Substance Painter
- Photoshop
- ZBrush (if necessary)
- Marvelous Designer (if necessary)
Skills:
- Modelling, unwrapping and texturing of 3D models
- Eye for depth, volume and proportions
- Has a good eye for finding and working with source material
- Comfortable with using Autodesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with Substance Painter is a plus

Mirage3D Studios is looking for a creative artist. Are you excelling in your field of study? Are you eager to learn? An internship at Mirage3D Studios may be for you and we welcome your application. Our internships range from 2 to 6 months. During that time, you’ll be paired with a mentor and have the opportunity to work on real projects, learn what it means to be a part of an advanced studio as well as explore your skills, natural talents and interests.
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge and skill in compositing software such as Flame, Fusion, Nuke, Adobe After Effects. Experience with three or more of the following:
- Multi-layer compositing
- CGI over live action compositing
- Motion graphics
- Digital matte paintings
- Set extensions
- 2D & 3D tracking
- Rotoscoping
- Color correction
- Video editing
- Audio editing
Experience with one of the following is a plus:
- PTGui
- Kolor Autopano
- Thinkbox Deadline
Responsibilities:
Assist in creating composited imagery for samples, R&D and Client Projects as part of a team or on your own.
Sharing your knowledge and learnings with your fellow artists and interns.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in progress. High School Diploma or its equivalent required.

We are looking to hire for internal positions on site in The Hague, The Netherlands.
As the Project Manager, you will be in charge of guiding the creativity of both our onsite artists as well as be the main point of contact for our freelancers worldwide.
Seeing as a lot of our customers are based in the US, knowledge about and excitement to work for the American Fulldome market is a must. As the CG Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to leave your mark on multiple exciting hard science animation productions. Mirage3D offers a fun and cooperative work atmosphere, where collaboration is encouraged among a diversely talented team to remain on the cutting edge of content creation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, motivation, direction and support to the project teams, located both onsite and offsite
- Planning, scheduling and ensuring the delivery on time, with the required quality. Constantly tracking progress in the meanwhile
- Determining (human) resource needs. Set up and follow up on the hiring and assignment plans
- Organizing work and backlog using project management/planning tools i.e. Trello
- Ensure the performance and technical quality of 3D assets
- Manage and maintain software and hardware related to licensing, rendering and 3D printing needs.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in a Project management or Producer role within the Fulldome industry
- Strong 3D generalist art portfolio: showcasing a technical understanding of the whole pipeline from concept to final rendered imagery
- Very good skills in industry relevant software: Maya, Zbrush, Substance, Adobe suite, Deadline Thinkbox, etc.
- A strong artistic sense, proactive personality, and eagerness to process, integrate and teach new techniques
- Experience working with (offsite) contractors and outsourcing
- Industry conference and show booth hosting experience in the United States, and knowledge of the American market, is a big plus
